Sarah Jane Richards is a visual artist who works to capture reflections and observations of the environment using mark-making through walking, meditating, drawing and painting. Through this, she explores her interest in installations, internally and externally that relate to a place and time. Sarah Jane has delivered award winning art commissions for mental health hospitals, developing creative environments that enhance wellbeing. A core artist of the award-winning Arts on Prescription program Creative Alternatives since 2009 she works creatively with people suffering from anxiety and depression within the North West. With a passion for conservation, celebration, and protection of the natural environment, Sarah Jane works with high profile organizations to help highlight some of the pressing environmental issues of our time.
